FROZEN FISH BURIED UNDER SCHOOLWORK

Ottawa ~ It's getting colder and colder here. However, some of my friends told me that it's supposed to be colder than it actually is right now (honestly, it has already been cold for me). I dont know whether I should be thankful or be worried about it: Be thankful as I wont be frozen too early or be worried as the cause of this would definitely be one of the environmental concerns. The latter is the priority (obviously). Captain Planet, we need you!!! Of course, I can do my part 'cos saving our planet is the thing to do. The power is mine!

Done with the frozen part, now comes the schoolwork. There're loads of stuff to do: piles of work on my desk. I dont really know where to start. Thus, I always end up surfing the internet, listening to music and slacking around. I prioritize my work. However, after I do what's needed to be done, I dont feel like studying anymore.

I have a group project due this week. It's kind of done so I'm not really worry about it. Still, there're 2 more group projects due next week. One is going nowhere and another one is getting there. Finals are coming soon. I have loads of stuff to study for. Finance materials are definitely tougher. Marketing exam involves detailed information. I need like 80 GBs of memory to remember all the facts in the textbook. Accounting is pretty okay but it requires lots of practice. And the fact that Dood is coming to visit me this weekend really add on to the pressure (though I cant really wait for this weekend to come). I need (at least try) to finish those projects before he comes so that I can spend time with him doing stuff that I've been wanting to do here.

But...what am I doing now? Blogging! Even though I know that TH probably be the only one who visits my blog at this period of time (as the rest of you guys are being 'choa muggers' right now. I'll be one soon. Maybe, I'll start when I wake up this morning), I still blog.

Also, I am thinking about writing on the stuff I find interesting when I'm here. Actually, I've planned to do that after I finish with my finals. Nevertheless, there are many stories I want to share with you guys. Each of my post would be pretty long. I dont like it to be that way. So, I'll blog it when things pop up into my head, given that I'm not in a mood of studying. I think I'll start with the story of my group's personal finance project that triggerred cultural talk.

P.S. I knew it's long but I couldnt help it. I've tried to put photos for this post but it didnt seem fit.
P.S.2 Thank you for sticking with me 'till the end. Love you!

One of those days is over!!!

I have to give thanks to the trip to Mt.Tremblant.
I really enjoyed it there: the town, the crapes, desserts at Casey's and the hotel room.
It's my first trip after the one to Montreal in early September.

On the second day, I met this kid, Daniel by chance. He was jumping along the walkway so I joined him. We raced up the hill. It was fun. Then his dad called him. We said goodbye but then he ran back to hug me. He's so adorable.

This is the day I fall in love...hehe..

See this...he was holding my hand.. = )

P.S. I'll put the slides on other photos for you guys to see later, maybe after my finals. There're lots of work for me to catch up with right now. By the way, I'll keep you guys posted on the silly and fun stuff I do here. Love you all but now I love Daniel more. Haha...

Is it because of the weather?
Is it because of me?

Suddenly I feel so lonely.
Suddenly I miss you guys who are halfway around the world so badly.
Suddenly I dont want to stay here in Ottawa anymore (even though I like it so much).
Suddenly the trip to Mt. Tremblant is not worth going (as it means that I have to wait for two more weeks to see Dood, a good friend I've not met for 3 years).
Suddenly I am not in a mood to do anything alone anymore ( though, I'm dying to get out of the Rez and do sth. But without you guys...it's just not the same). I want to spend time with all of you guys ( be it hanging in the boring TCHBS or just eating yummy food at Tha Prachan).
Suddenly I am in tears.

When was the last time I chatted with Mae, YP, Feli, A, Or+ ( and the rest) on MSN?
When was the last time I skyped with TH?

I really miss the time we spent together.
I really miss your voice.
I really miss your presence.
I just miss you.

Two more weeks until a reunion with my good old friend...

I can only wait.
I can only hope that the weather will get better.
I can only anticipate this feeling to fade away.

P.S. I know many of you guys are having or preparing for exams...so good luck to all of you. สู้ตายนะ!! Jiayou!!

What a way to start a day!
I had my breakfast with Grant (the sweetest guy on my floor) this morning. We shared our boxes of cereal (it's obvious that I have more than he has). I tried Post Shreddies he brought. It was nice. Maybe I'll add it on to my collection...hmmm...= )

And yesterday morning I had breakfast (cereal of course) with Christian (the German guy in my group) as we had to finish up the last bit of our group ppt before the class started.

Two mornings...two breakfasts...with two guys...hehe..

Still there's one guy I really want to have breakfast with. I've been longing to have breakfast with him for quite a while. He's Tim Hortons.

Looks good eh?

And this would be my ideal day: breakfast with Tim (Hortons), lunch with Jimmy (the Greek), and dinner with Ben and Jerry('s). I would be so happy (so broke and so fat by the end of the day...hehe..).

Somebody stops me!!! 13 boxes now!

I woke up this morning and saw this outside my window. It snowed, wet snow though.

I didnt go outside with my flipfops like I did last time. It was too cold for me to do anything except lying in my comfy bed. =P

Also, I bought this mag (again).

One thing I dun understand about it is that why an issue is out a month earlier. Last time I bought Nov issue in early Oct. The one I bought today is Dec issue. Weird eh?

I was back to cooking mode, even if it's only for today.

The baked potatoes took freaking long.
Next time I cook, I'll stick to ข้าวไข่เจียว (rice with omelette). = )

A small piece of Tim Hortons donut I had today is making me eating non-stop.
I told myself that I was going to eat only a small piece of Boston Creme.

I did it.
BUT...
Gib mentioned abt how many Tim Hortons donuts my frens in Calgary eating each day while we were chatting on MSN.
After we were done chatting, this monster urge inside of me tried to get me to finish the Boston Creme.

"You have to finish that yummy donut!"

I suppressed it by eating apples.
5 apples were gone.
Then the donut's gone.
I was conquered ( he really got me man).
That was just a starter.
SO...

My first Halloween...

This is a bag of candy I have for the kids.

Two class skippers...

...roamed around Sandy Hill.

The kids were extremely cute.

The best part...

We walked along Blackburn Ave. and saw this house with a very nice Halloween decorations.

So we stopped by and took photos with each and every item.

Then this...

N.P. was the first one. Nothing happened.

Then it's my turn. I felt that there's a hand coming to grab my shoulder. It moved! I screamed and went to hug N.P. (who screamed 'cos of me) Everybody was looking at us; toddlers puzzled and older kids and parents giggled. What a scene...what a scene...

Frightened me right? So I went trick or treating the wife.

This was what I got (I finished a package while we were walking back to the Rez)...not bad for a first-timer.

The aftermath...

212 Blackburn Ave. I'll be back!

We didnt go to Children's Hospital though. It was 7.30 when we were done with Sandy Hill. The kids at the hospital would be asleep by the time we got there. Actually, we were thinking about the possibility of us being kicked out by nurses for going there a bit late...haha...

Parliament Hill became our next destination.

We kept walking...

until we reached...

where I bought...

(chatted with TH on skype and told her abt it. I also told her abt 12 pounds of apples I bought yesterday. She said 'you siew(บ้า)!').

I dun think I have to see a doctor any time soon. Haha...

What that's left ( I did eat some bars during the night...Hehe...).

Happy Halloween!
