Schoolwork is killing me. Actually, it is not that bad. Only 2 subjects, BA401 and FN413, that require extra hard work. Both are taught by Ajarn (that’s what we call our prof. here) James, the toughest grader of all Ajarns.
I went to school everyday last week to work on his cases with my friends. I am expecting to do the same this week. I happen to be presenting these two cases on the same day, one after another. I’ve been working on these cases with my groups for more than a week. It seems that we are getting there but…now I feel we are nowhere near our targets.
Aj. helps on calculation part for FN413 (though his responses are only correct or incorrect) and on minor stuff for both. I once e-mailed him to ask for a clarification on one of the cases. He replied, ‘you should be able to figure this out by yourselves.’ My group and I were like…thanks Aj...you are so helpful.
Never in my life have I been expecting someone’s e-mail this badly. It’s only because I need his response to continue my work. Are our answers correct? Is our problem statement acceptable? I once sent 5 e-mails to him on the same day, each on diff aspects of the finance case. I looked up my inbox every 15 min after every e-mail sent just to check whether he had replied them or not.
I would be done with these two cases on next Tue. I just cant wait for that time to come! Still, I have another 4 cases with him.
No more James ever again!!!
