Singapore: 1st day
It was very exciting for me to go back to SG after all these years. I didnt know how this small island had changed over the years. I had no clue at all what to expect.
Arriving at the S u v a r n a b h u m i Airport early gave me time to do some window shopping at the duty free. I had been searching for A d i d a s A d r e n a l i n H o m m e s for almost a year. I should have bought it when I was in Ottawa. Damn the Harper's tax and McGuinty's tax that deterred me from buying. It was 14 percent altogether! So I though it would be cheaper if I were to buy it at the duty free. To my dismay, I cldnt find it anywhere. Sian!
I was also looking for a wristwatch. That freaking theif took my A d i d a s watch. Still I cldnt find any that I like.
On the plane, I sat besides this ang moh uncle. He smelled of a cigarette. He drank coffee. Huh...where were all the cute ang mohs?
It was raining when the plane touched down. I was hoping (a bit) that there would be sb picking me up from the airport. No one came. Sob Sob... I had tH's number but I had no means of contacting her. The only notes I had on me were 50's and a 100. So I walked to Mc to buy a dollar pie with a 50. I asked for small coins in change. It was kinda troblesome but the lady was nice to fulfil my request.
tH was called. She told me to take M R T to B u a n a V i s t a M R T and she'd pick me up from there.
We took a bus to Feli's room in one of the N U S' halls where I'd be staying for two nights.

I left my duffle there and moved on to tH's hall. We hung around there for a while. Then she took me to this new shopping mall in SG called V i v o C i t y. We roamed around the place and ate.
